[Manila, 4/11/25]

At 7:45PM on 3/10/25, a South Korean was killed by robbers in Malate. A month later, I stayed in the same neighborhood for two weeks. The many South Koreans I saw were often accompanied by a pretty Filipina. One morning I ran into a Korean looking man in his 60’s. His baby blue dress shirt was buttoned to his wrinkly neck. Two pens peeked from a pocket. A Filipina held him by each hand. One had three colorful tatts on her right forearm. The other wore a crimson dress that struggled to cover her pubis. Their lips couldn’t have been redder. Grandpa was like a nervous child being led by two lesbian mommies to his first day in kindergarten. Misbehave and he’d be spanked until he bawled for mercy. They’d have to stroke him to sleep.

On 3/14/25 in Boracay, a 28-year-old was arrested for drug possession. In jail, Mik made a surprising confession. On 3/10/25, he and two friends, Jelo and JR, noticed a Slovak tourist, Michaela Mickova, at a hotel. After Jelo engaged her, all four agreed to go to an abandoned chapel. PhilStar on 3/20/25:
