[Phước Bửu, 2/6/25]

At 3:48AM, I’m among four people at the café on General Uprising. They’re yakking away. Laughter often erupts. Sitting outside, Tèo is so loud, but sleepers in nearby houses don’t mind. It’s almost time to get up anyway.

Yesterday, Tèo and Liên, the café owner, again raptured about that place they’ll never reach.

Tèo, “It’s the best at everything, progress, intelligence, fairness.”

Liên, “There, even an office worker or actor can become President!”

“Without it to maintain order, the world would be in chaos.”

“They’re right to take back the Panama Canal. They built it, at such cost! Many of them even died. These other guys just put up toll booths at each end!”

Liên also said it’s an excellent idea for this fair and magical country to own and develop Gaza. Enough of these terrorists lobbing rockets into civilization.
