There are many good books on the subject, one that comes to mind is Thomas Suarez’s “State of Terror”, how Israel came in to being. He researched media of the day (from 1940 to 48), British documents, and internal (previously classified) communication of the Jewish Agency (Irgun, Haganah and Lehi gangs). There were 3 main targets. One being the British administration (see the sergeants affair), the 2nd group was the Palestinian population and the 3rd were local Jews who weren’t with the program. Their barbarity and malevolence was breathtaking. Their behaviour has never changed.

Judah is not the only child of Israel, and Israel is not entirely descended from Judah.
