Is it me, or are virtually all white visitors to these exotic locales heavily inked? It's hard to find one in your photos that isn't! I can’t understand the compelling desire of so many Westerners to emulate The Illustrated Man. Down at the local Salvation Army Food Pantry, business is booming nowadays, and many of its patrons are there more because of bad luck than through any great fault of their own. But when we drop off an occasional sack of groceries, I can't help noticing that so many of the younger ones have heavy ink, and wonder how much of their scarce resources are expended on it.

I follow Gonzalo Lira’s videos, and saw his recent one about the power going out. I too have imagined what prolonged power outages must be like. As a retired veteran of the power generation industry, I know better than many where it comes from, and how much and what parts of my modern life depend on it. At least I am not as dependent on it as the denizens of the modern high-rises.

I have at least brushed up against what this must be like. Back in the early 1990’s I worked at a nuclear facility in southern Maryland, a heavily-wooded, largely rural area. One February there was a big ice storm that coated all the trees and power lines with a thick layer of ice. Soon those tree limbs started snapping off, cutting the single string of power lines supplying the area in hundreds of places, making it impossible to repair quickly. The homes of many I worked with were without power for several WEEKS, something I had never imagined. Everyone ran out and bought whatever they could find in the way of portable generators, and soon the local supply was overwhelmed. Then, a month or so later, everything was finally put back together, and incredibly, the papers over the next few weeks had dozens of ads placed by people who wanted to sell their generators. I guess they hadn’t learned anything about preparedness.

I hope Graham continues to hang in there. "On the ground" reports like his are the best look we can get at what is going on, but even those are not "all-seeing eyes"--they only tell you what is happening right around them. With Zelensky shutting down the independent media, people in Ukraine like Graham struggle almost as much as we do to get the true story about anything that they can't observe personally.

Excellent missive, Linh

One correction though. It was Sean Penn who recently gave his Oscar to Zelensky. If Scientologist Tom Cruise did also, that make two suckers who did. Ben Stiller has been seen kissing the feet of that little Napoleon on several excursions to Kiev. Zelensky is rumored to be pumped up with steroids to tighten his green muscle shirts, which some find sexy, and is also fond of a certain white powder. Still, his performance has been Oscar worthy, especially the time that he tried (unsuccessfully) to start World War Three. No doubt he'll keep trying as long as he remains in power.

Informative and stimulating as ever, thanks Linh. I read it late last night after watching hours of the World Cup but also reading another Substack writer I just discovered around midnight - the Slavland Chronicles. Of course it all a hall of mirrors these days but saw some of my favourites like Gonzalo Lira, Scott Ritter, the Duran, and the Saker trashed by someone who lives in Russia, or did until recently. It is like a black and white picture that is gradually refined and refined until it is entirely black. He reveals a world of corruption and incompetency in Russia as well.

'Of war and peace the truth just twists

Its curfew gull it glides

Upon four-legged forest clouds

The cowboy angel rides

With his candle lit into the sun

Though its glow is waxed in black

All except when 'neath the trees of Eden'

Bob Dylan 'Gates of Eden'

So glad you got another gig in Bangalore to bolster your spirits (and therefore ours). Because not much is looking good these days. Australia unexpectedly won a game. Clif High describes the period we have entered into THE BIG UGLY. The Victorian state election were also held Saturday and the leader who brought us the longest lockdown in the world just got reelected. Oh well he also provided me a totally free upgrade to my hot water system and a heavily subsidized solar system.

I am waiting on my split system heater/AC to be installed, again free of charge for seniors, which I am. Being bought is not so bad, I tell myself, although I did not vote for him. We lost power for two weeks over a year ago due to a great storm which brought down many trees over many power lines. Granted, it never gets that cold here, but we were never uncomfortable or felt the need to crack out the electric generator my husband bought for work purposes years ago. I have books on hand to last for years and we had a good supply of firewood. Facing the same situation in below zero weather in a flat, with children, is unpleasant to contemplate. I am sorry for the Sieberts. Thanks for the update. Enjoy India, it is such a fascinating and utterly different place! And warm!

Been wanting to mention this but keep forgetting....I see one of your fellow Substack authors is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Recently Kareem went on Jew Boy Jake Tapper's show on CNN to condemn Kyrie Irving's alleged anti-semitic rant. As far as I can tell, all Kyrie did was provide a link to a book that's available on Amazon.

Kareem didn't say a word when Michael Jordan escorted War Criminal George W Bush around the Ryder Cup in 2012 nor when Step N Fetch It General Colin Powell lied to the whole world at the United Nations prior to the United States illegal invasion of Iraq.

Wish I had enough money for a subscription, I'd go over there & rock his world.

“We are hearing a series of loud explosions, more than at any time since April/May. No idea what it is.“

I don’t know Graham? Maybe some Walmart shoppers doing blue darters in the parking lot?

Greetings from Vancouver, Linh. I can confirm what the Vancouverite you met reported. Everything seems normal here, with the exception of 10-15 percent of the public masking. Nonstop messaging on media about respiratory illnesses. It is absolutely true that most people are dressed in black. My family is doing well and are happy, and not interested in any unacceptable views. It's cold and dark here, so I look forward to my return to warm SE Asia.

Thanks again Linh Dinh for another magic camera snapshot of our global dystopia and jaded nomads therein.

As General Winter does his stuff in fast evaporating rump Ukraine and Mr Bear amputates the canceroUS growth that USSAN Bolshevik juice scum and sundry filth in Washing town, along with the Natostan cesspool of the EUSSR spawned, rump Ukroppers and soon the Euro Peon masses, will learn the wisdom of the Russian saying, "In the war between TV and refrigerator, the fridge always wins."

As the inimitable Mr Lira rightly surmises "All of a sudden, you realize that everything in your life depends on electricity..." Yet muting the shrieking transgendermutant retard jooganda spouting TV is only the start of this battle for the covaid$ squirted masses to even stand a chance of ever waking up but no doubt an empty fridge will concentrate the mind much more sharply than a perverted, lying screen of talking head psychopaths ever can.

"The worse it gets, the better it is." As mass murdering moron Lenin quipped.

To the long overdue co££ap$€ of the angloZionaZi empire of shit.

I kinda like Anglin. He's over the top, but it's more a style than anything. Like Jonathan Swift on steroids. Lira... I don't know. He made some good videos early on, but there are some strange things about him, like his curious background or his sudden disappearance and then reappearance. The Duran guys are good. Patrick Lancaster too. The Saker is too biased. But there are some good Russian bloggers.

As for the World Cup. Argentina won against both Mexico and Poland and improved. I think they should reach semifinals, and be dispatched by Brazil. Maybe Spain will be champions. I hope it's not Afrance again.

Enjoy Bangalore, but take care with the curry. I once had a bad case of food poisoning after eating in an Indian restaurant. But that was in the US, not in India.

Anglin expresses a lot of sadistic feeling but is laughing at "sluts and sinners" (against islam presumably) fleeing kabul really the same as americans jacking off to the indiscriminate murder of "furriners?" Including his words in that paragraph didn't make sense to me. I read anglin's crap every day. Given his way, he would, apparently, rather nuke most of his fellow americans than kill anyone overseas.

Linh, I suggest you follow Russell (Texas) Bentley on Telegram. Aat least you’ll become acquainted with one American who is courageous and proves it through his actions, not just words. He is a worthy role model for all of us. And you’ll learn a lot about the true nature of the Ukraine War. Bentley moved over to Donetsk in 2014 in order to help fight the Nazi’s who were attacking the civilians there. His is an amazing story.

I know Tom Cruise visited Zelensky back in 2019, but it was Sean Penn who was there a few weeks ago to present Zelensky an "Oscar". Surprised he didn't give Zelensly an autographed photo of his ex-wife, Madonna.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Japanese last minute Bonzai Charge "Sink the Bismark".

Have fun in India !

Hey Linh, I don't know if you're familiar with Scott Creighton, formerly of the "American Everyman" blog. He had a pretty decent readership, but he's been deplatformed numerous times since then. He now does YouTube videos, and reposts what he had archived on Substack.

https://www.youtube.com/@BeauTender

https://scottcreighton.substack.com

He'd probably be happy to have you as a guest for a discussion. He's previously done interviews with Whitney Webb and others, who have now grown too famous to even reply to his tweets.

He won't discuss Jewish power outside of the Palestinian occupation, though since the free speech issues with Kanye and Kyrie, he's spoken up a little more than usual. He has his own opinion of Lira, a limited hangout I stopped trying to make sense of long ago. Limited hangouts have their value though, and he's an easy one to poke fun at. https://www.youtube.com/@BeauTender/search?query=Gonzalo%20Lira
