The naivety of American parents, convinced that their doctor won't lie to them about circumcision, is similar to the naivety exhibited in lining up to take an experimental clot shot. Bullshit. Circumcision does NOT affect virility. What a stupid idea. Far more people are circed than just Jews. Muslims are and uncut soldiers used to have to be done before they'd be sent into battle. The only difference circumcision makes is reduces infections and the penis is no longer requiring so much washing and care. It reduces stimulation a bit for the man, due to the glans being unprotected, which just means I have always been able to prolong orgasm for my partner's sake for one thing. I have been with women who would not bed an uncut man and won't repeat what Prostitute once said about it. I'm 59 today, married to a wife of 30. My swimmers are in good numbers and I am as fertile as when I was 20. Virtually no sign of aging there, and apparently I should have half of them slow and deformed by my age. That's just personal example, but you might also take note that Muslims tend to have very big families too. I was cut as a baby not for religious reasons but because our family line has always been done since great grandfather was done before being sent to war. Damned dick conceit. One of the few good things to come out of the Covid hoax was reading your travel essays. Now that you are winding down your wandering - or just pausing it - and returning to Vietnam, of all the countries that you have visited during the Covid hoax, what was the one you would return to if you had to live in one of them?
I have not visited a single country I didn't develop a fondness for. I know that sounds like a copout, but it's really true. As for living in just one place permanently, I'd love to live in Belgrade or Cape Town, if money wasn't an issue, and if economic collapse or war wasn't an imminent threat. If I couldn't return to Vietnam, I would love to go back to Busan. South Korea is an extremely efficient society, and Busan is very beautiful and cosmopolitan, the latter important for food options. The lack of food variety is the only strike against Albania, a country I learnt to love, for the sweetness of its people. Beirut is also magnificent, but it is broken, and there's just so much sadness everywhere. Cairo, too, is sad, and also stifling, with Sisi portraits and soldiers all over.
After some much needed rest in Vietnam, I can snoop around neighboring countries, so hopefully the travel writing will continue.

As far as I can tell the only occupation that is fair, just and equal is politics. If you are of any race, any IQ ,any gender and not competent at anything you can rise to the top of the pond in the kingdom of politics. The only requirement is to not be a straight shooter.
With poor aim any insufferable Tom, Dick or Sheri can make it in politics!
I've been thinking about all of this (too much at times) and have come to so some unpleasant realizations about my capacity for ignorance, spite, disgust, petty hatred the in the world and what it takes to truly stifle a human spirit. I see so many "empathetic" calls for basic denial of healthy human interaction that I am beginning to lose some of my boundaries between what I thought were theological/ spiritual vs. behavioral facets of ourselves.
I've had to ask myself a lot of questions.
Basically: "What is the basic human definition of my life when I remove the terror of scarcity?" and "How in the f*#k do I maintain my health, sanity and common decency in the face of so much pre-meditated terror and manipulation of our worst instincts?"
