I compare Jordan Gray's life with Julia Grant's. Julia was the subject of the BBC documentary "A Change of Sex" in the late 1970s showing the period of her life when she transitioned from being George Roberts into Julia. Adam Curtis worked this narrative into his own recent documentary "Can't Get You Out of My Head," particularly as it relates to how pursuing one's own individual identity against overwhelming social inertia requires a kind of determination or inner resistance but all too often leads to abandonment, isolation, and pain before it completely changes the landscape afterwards. Curtis does a cunning job in showing how "Madame Mao" Jiang Qing's own self-expression as a woman refusing to submit to what men said she could be compares to Julia's —among many other stories of personal struggles caught up in social and technological tectonic changes.
The scene that stands out is Julia sitting in the office of the NHS psychiatrist assigned to her case. How he talks to her might remind many people of what it was to sit and listen to their own doctors and health care professionals dictating what medications, what therapies, and what protocols must be followed during the Pandemic, or else. A feminist much earlier might even say that we know Julia's a woman now, because this is how men talk to them.
Forty years makes a huge difference, but some things still remain the same. Gray wants to flaunt on stage what others want to retain inside their own homes, with someone who loves them, away from the Know-Betters, where the pain and trauma find healing in daily sharing. And I don't mean the dick, I mean the confusion, the joy, the doubts, the will to find one's self.
Grant later on became controversial for not being as publicly and unflinchingly enthusiastic about transitioning, because all of this regarding who and what we are in public and in private isn't something we're going to fit neatly into a category we're all going to embrace, even if for the sake of conversation. On 11/16/21, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. published The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health. Though Ron Unz has commented extensively on this eye-opening book, he has focused on its expose about AIDS, and not Covid. On 1/10/22, Unz even wrote, “Despite Kennedy’s efforts, my own position on Covid vaccinations or other related public health measures still remains very conventional, not too different from what might be found in the pages of the Times or the Economist.”
Unfortunately, the man’s not joking. Went on and read a review of Prof Lynn's book about the superior intelligence of Ashkenazi Jews which i had some idea of. I wish i had had your essay about blacks to hand several years ago when i had my first major split with my children when i cautioned them about jumping too emotionally to conclusions about George Floyd's death. I instantly became a racist (i take yr point that we are all racists) and was given a stern rebuke with no right of rebuttal. I have of course moved on in their minds to the ultimate latest heresies: I am unvaccinated and also failed to endorse Ukraine as hero state. Hohum. Today I have been troubled as I frequently am by your reference to Jew-this and jew-that, considering that no one refers to Joe Biden as notoriously corrupt Roman Catholic or for that matter, any of the Mafioso over the years who are also notorious and evil Roman Catholics. I get your point about the many people of Jewish background who have a suspiciously large part in nefarious activities these days, but there are such a lot of Jews who do not as well. I will write that up over at mine. What to say here on yours about your view of the Jews. If you had jumped the other way, studying to keep mitzvot and learn Torah, I would have tried seriously to talk you out of it. That is our custom. So, you have in that sense done as we prefer. Beyond that, it is always good to hear these things out loud and see them in print. Plenty of people take offense at the Jews and never say so. Since you read scripture, you already know that Hashem and his, whatever, prophets also dislike us and our ways. So, again, you are with the program. Mazel tov. Okay enough fun. I am writing here now to address those security agencies who follow such as you: This man is my good friend. He has done as much as anyone, more than nearly anyone to reconcile the United States and Viet Nam, one mind at a time, with flinty words and no nonsense. Reviewing his work you too will see that no intelligence or propaganda operation could possibly be running him. He will do or say what he thinks, not as he is told. I remain hopeful that his conscience and strength of mind will lead him to express his understanding of the world order in different terms. But that is his fate, not ours. Please leave him alone to do his work as he sees fit.

Hi Dan,
In short, I have nothing against anyone born Jewish, but only Jewish thinking. It is a destructive ideology that harms Jews themselves. My understanding of this issue was triggered by Henry Herskovitz, above all, who was born Jewish, then Gilad Atzmon, among others.
Speaking to me in Michigan, Herskovitz pointed out the distinction between opposing Jewish thinking to being against Jews. Though Herskovitz is vehemently against organized Jewry and Israel, he's obviously not against his own family, whom he continues to love. Similarly, there are many "Jews" whom I respect and admire, and non Jews whom I'm contemptuous of because they embody or espouse Jewish thinking. That's the virus that must be contained, at least.

Dear Linh, It is all getting too hard to comprehend but the 'elite aerosol division' cracked me up and made it all worthwhile. Cheap thrills. Two night ago, my little town 7 kms away, a haven of normality and friendly smiles, had a very heavy rainstorm (after months of heavy rainstorms) and a flash flood erupted and washed through the tiny shopping area. Climate change? or just climate. Many new homes have been built on blocks of 1/2 or 1 acre so that there is no longer any soil to absorb the rain. The heavy falls pour off and hasten to the lowest point which is a tiny creed which previously directed the water into a culvert under the main street and then off to join the river and eventually the sea. I have not driven the seven kilometres to review the damage but know the local coffee shop became part of the creek for a while and is closed indefinitely. I wonder how the industrious Chinese couple who bought the fruit shop in order to qualify for Australian citizenship are doing. Things were already not so good for them as they did not fit in well to the clientele who frequented the natural food/organic vegetable shop they bought. For awhile they called me their best customer as I have a fatal tendency to want to help the strangers in strange lands, having been one. They are interesting people. Anyway, I hope someone wakes up and decides nuclear war is not an entirely sensible development but don't have a lot of hope as so many other things are proceeding apace which are not only not sensible but utterly insane. So I sincerely hope we can limp on to another postcard next week and the week after that. I have a lot of raw chick peas I bought before our first lockdown and am not looking forward to trying to live on them at any time in the future.
The old line from white women that men like Asian women because they are meek and docile can only be honestly believed if you don't know Asian women and haven't seen them with their husband.
The eastern Asian women I have known can be very tough with their husband (sometimes too tough in my opinion). The difference between them and white women is that they are also more likely to do things to please their husband and help the family without always making sure that they are getting a better deal first.
Eastern Asian culture is interesting in that in some ways people are less confrontational and in other ways far blunter and more honest than in the West.
Nagging women are something common regardless of the race, ethnicity or culture of the married couple. I think the advantage of Asian women may be that they tend to be less futile or interested in "woke" stuff than white women, but this is also changing. But yeah, meek and docile? I don't think so. Even Muslim women, they may wear sackcloths outside the home, but inside the home, they can henpeck and nag their husband as much as any Western woman.
It’s telling that the US has not only deployed one of its “most elite aerosol divisions” to within striking distance of Odessa, but has gone to the trouble of embedding a “journalist.” These days, advertising the inclusion of this person is in itself a message from the Empire as much as the division itself is.
How about a not implausible scenario fueled by delusion? Ukraine, technically not at war (as it is, after all, only a “Special Military Operation”), “invites” the US to bring its division to Odessa for a visit. The belief, no doubt, is that it will serve as a “trip wire” to convey our earnest intent to enforce some kind of “red line” like the similar folks stationed in South Korea. Laughably, Russia just won’t care when the time comes.

Examining Israel, Gibraltar and Great Britain, Atzmon stressed that the Pfizer “vaccine” triggered a surge in Covid related hospitalizations and deaths. On 1/30/21, Atzmon stated, “The case of Israel, leading the world by far in the mass vaccination contest, doesn’t leave much maneuvering room for skeptics. Since Israel launched its vast vaccination campaign in December, it has been witnessing an exponential rise in COVID-19 cases and deaths.” Exponential!
(As for the oddity of Pfizer injecting Israeli Jews, I got this reminder from Henry Herskovitz, “I would tell people that Jews have never shied away from slaughtering their own to achieve what they felt to be overarching goals. Here’s David Ben Gurion in the late 1930’s: ‘If I knew that it was possible to save all the [Jewish] children in Germany by transporting them to England, but only half by transporting them to Palestine, I would choose the second.'”)

Since starting his SubStack blog on 10/31/21, Steve Kirsch, a Jewish millionaire like Ron Unz, has become a leading opponent of the Covid jab. His latest initiative is an invitation for healthcare workers to speak openly about Covid “vaccines” on 1/23/22
There are so many others, such as Del Bigtree, Whitney Webb, Robert Malone, Sucharit Bhakdi, David Martin and Peter McColough, with the last three seasoned doctors, and Robert Malone the inventor of the mRNA “vaccine,” now being lethally deployed by Pfizer and Moderna.
On 11/16/21, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. published The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health. Though Ron Unz has commented extensively on this eye-opening book, he has focused on its expose about AIDS, and not Covid. On 1/10/22, Unz even wrote, “Despite Kennedy’s efforts, my own position on Covid vaccinations or other related public health measures still remains very conventional, not too different from what might be found in the pages of the Times or the Economist.”
Unfortunately, the man’s not joking. Despite all the evidence presented by Kennedy, and so many others besides, Unz still leans towards the Jewish media, Jewish Schwab, Jewish Bourla, Jewish Wallensky, Jewish Zients, Jewish Zaks and Jewish Slavitt, etc. Perhaps Unz is just stubbornly foolish, and not a limited hangout hustler.
In any case, this is my very last sentence at Unz Review, “Whoever ignores or distracts from this global emergency is, at best, useless, if not a tool of the mass murderers.”

Dear Linh, i deeply appreciate the time you have taken to answer my question. I have just read many of those articles but not yet all. Went on and read a review of Prof Lynn's book about the superior intelligence of Ashkenazi Jews which i had some idea of. I wish i had had your essay about blacks to hand several years ago when i had my first major split with my children when i cautioned them about jumping too emotionally to conclusions about George Floyd's death. I instantly became a racist (i take yr point that we are all racists) and was given a stern rebuke with no right of rebuttal. I have of course moved on in their minds to the ultimate latest heresies: I am unvaccinated and also failed to endorse Ukraine as hero state. Hohum. Anyway, it has been a very stimulating evening here under the eaves reading the recommended articles and listening to the rain. Today I have been troubled as I frequently am by your reference to Jew-this and jew-that, considering that no one refers to Joe Biden as notoriously corrupt Roman Catholic or for that matter, any of the Mafioso over the years who are also notorious and evil Roman Catholics. I get your point about the many people of Jewish background who have a suspiciously large part in nefarious activities these days, but there are such a lot of Jews who do not as well. The bottom line is, I have zero animosity towards biological Jews, for that would be absurd. I'm only vehemently against Jewish thinking, and the crimes against humanity that result from this. Linh, I have been startled to catch up with your thought. Thinking your views over has at last let me say something in general about the postcards project I have enjoyed all century. I will write that up over at mine. What to say here on yours about your view of the Jews. If you had jumped the other way, studying to keep mitzvot and learn Torah, I would have tried seriously to talk you out of it. That is our custom. So, you have in that sense done as we prefer. Beyond that, it is always good to hear these things out loud and see them in print. Plenty of people take offense at the Jews and never say so. Since you read scripture, you already know that Hashem and his, whatever, prophets also dislike us and our ways. So, again, you are with the program. Mazel tov. Okay enough fun. I am writing here now to address those security agencies who follow such as you: This man is my good friend. He has done as much as anyone, more than nearly anyone to reconcile the United States and Viet Nam, one mind at a time, with flinty words and no nonsense. Reviewing his work you too will see that no intelligence or propaganda operation could possibly be running him. He will do or say what he thinks, not as he is told. I remain hopeful that his conscience and strength of mind will lead him to express his understanding of the world order in different terms. But that is his fate, not ours. Please leave him alone to do his work as he sees fit.

Hi Dan,
In short, I have nothing against anyone born Jewish, but only Jewish thinking. It is a destructive ideology that harms Jews themselves. My understanding of this issue was triggered by Henry Herskovitz, above all, who was born Jewish, then Gilad Atzmon, among others.
Speaking to me in Michigan, Herskovitz pointed out the distinction between opposing Jewish thinking to being against Jews. Though Herskovitz is vehemently against organized Jewry and Israel, he's obviously not against his own family, whom he continues to love. Similarly, there are many "Jews" whom I respect and admire, and non Jews whom I'm contemptuous of because they embody or espouse Jewish thinking. That's the virus that must be contained, at least.

The Jewish ideology is not just deeply racist, but genocidal, though often hidden under a cloak of "progressism." It's fueled by an indignant hatred of the other. If you don't submit to it, you're an enemy to be eliminated.

Dear Linh, It is all getting too hard to comprehend but the 'elite aerosol division' cracked me up and made it all worthwhile. Cheap thrills. Two night ago, my little town 7 kms away, a haven of normality and friendly smiles, had a very heavy rainstorm (after months of heavy rainstorms) and a flash flood erupted and washed through the tiny shopping area. Climate change? or just climate. Many new homes have been built on blocks of 1/2 or 1 acre so that there is no longer any soil to absorb the rain. The heavy falls pour off and hasten to the lowest point which is a tiny creed which previously directed the water into a culvert under the main street and then off to join the river and eventually the sea. I have not driven the seven kilometres to review the damage but know the local coffee shop became part of the creek for a while and is closed indefinitely. I wonder how the industrious Chinese couple who bought the fruit shop in order to qualify for Australian citizenship are doing. Things were already not so good for them as they did not fit in well to the clientele who frequented the natural food/organic vegetable shop they bought. For awhile they called me their best customer as I have a fatal tendency to want to help the strangers in strange lands, having been one. They are interesting people. Anyway, I hope someone wakes up and decides nuclear war is not an entirely sensible development but don't have a lot of hope as so many other things are proceeding apace which are not only not sensible but utterly insane. So I sincerely hope we can limp on to another postcard next week and the week after that. I have a lot of raw chick peas I bought before our first lockdown and am not looking forward to trying to live on them at any time in the future.
The old line from white women that men like Asian women because they are meek and docile can only be honestly believed if you don't know Asian women and haven't seen them with their husband.
The eastern Asian women I have known can be very tough with their husband (sometimes too tough in my opinion). The difference between them and white women is that they are also more likely to do things to please their husband and help the family without always making sure that they are getting a better deal first.
Eastern Asian culture is interesting in that in some ways people are less confrontational and in other ways far blunter and more honest than in the West.
Nagging women are something common regardless of the race, ethnicity or culture of the married couple. I think the advantage of Asian women may be that they tend to be less futile or interested in "woke" stuff than white women, but this is also changing. But yeah, meek and docile? I don't think so. Even Muslim women, they may wear sackcloths outside the home, but inside the home, they can henpeck and nag their husband as much as any Western woman.
It turns out nagging men aren't that uncommon either. I live with one. A symptom of anxiety.

It’s telling that the US has not only deployed one of its “most elite aerosol divisions” to within striking distance of Odessa, but has gone to the trouble of embedding a “journalist.” These days, advertising the inclusion of this person is in itself a message from the Empire as much as the division itself is.
How about a not implausible scenario fueled by delusion? Ukraine, technically not at war (as it is, after all, only a “Special Military Operation”), “invites” the US to bring its division to Odessa for a visit. The belief, no doubt, is that it will serve as a “trip wire” to convey our earnest intent to enforce some kind of “red line” like the similar folks stationed in South Korea. Laughably, Russia just won’t care when the time comes.
You put your finger on a real truism when you wrote that “everything that’s ordinary is not just beautiful, but sacred.” Surveying the landscape these days, “ordinary” looks both increasingly desirable and increasingly rare.
