It's probably good that everything in Ukraine will be digital and remote, since Ukrainian citizenship is already trending in that direction.

Great piece Linh. Perfectly balanced with Chinese poetry, Kafka and non compliance.

Speaking of Jewjabs, I just canceled a subscription to a newsletter because the writer focused the most recent one on how Trump is running as though Covid never happened when 1 million Americans (worldwide more than 6 million I am sure) died(!!!) from it. Anyone who can't see that the numbers are grossly inflated and the pandemic was a lie is really a useful idiot.

In one way Covid is the gift that keeps on giving. Looking at a crowd of people you can tell the ones who are most likely mentally ill because they are wearing masks. You can tell which medical authorities are frauds and sociopaths because they are the ones encouraging the newest Jewjabs because Covid is back and coming to get you!

It also makes it easy to winnow down a list of potential medical practioners by whether they mandate your wearing a mask. Last week I wanted to make an appointment for my wife with an accupuncturist but found that 90 percent still require masks. I would rather make am appointment with a witchdoctor at this point than someone who still thinks masks work to safeguard you from evil spirits like Covid

While it's annoying to watch millions of compliant people accept the most facile nonsense, the natural world will have it's way with all of us. So I get a good deal of satisfaction knowing that most of the people responsible for the proposed restrictions will be long dead before they see their desires come to fruition - if they ever do.

I think what's more annoying about our modern society is that we pretend (and in many cases actually believe) that things are good and moral when they obviously aren't. Words matter more than actual results. So we hear about "safe and effective vaccines" when they're anything but, we hear about "Black Lives Matter" as dysfunction is promoted and African-Americans loot or shoot each other and no one cares, we are told to "stand for the Ukraine" as that country is completely depopulated of young people and Blackrock buys all the land, we hear about "love is love" as people in the West basically stopped having children but we pretend that "love" is not about reproduction but about inserting all kinds of objects in your favourite hole.

"Bourlaed" cracked me up. My initial interpretation of this neologism when I read that sentence was with a long "a", like "Creme Bourlaed". That's too sexy for a creep like Bourla. I don't like to associate global genocide with tasty desserts.

Mr. Linh, I subscribed but after 6/10 of last year I've not been receiving updates from your channel.

Can you help, please?

Gotta do what Jimmy Dore does whenever he talks about the v**nes - a disclosure that "I have to mention that v*cc*(nes are safe and effective". On paper it complies with guidelines but we all know what is going on.

That's a depressing read man. I hope it won't all end that bad. We can't easily predict exactly what will happen even though you for sure have the planned trajectory of the conveyor belt accurately imagined - maybe the lever will be halted like with the scademic or another path will be taken. We just don't know. Falling into despair won't help anyway. Your posts often seem to be a mixture of this doom and gloom mixed with enjoying quotidian everyday life where you happen to be. I think you're probably right about these predictions but I/we need to have some hope.

Do you practice or believe in any religion? I think a secular response to this won't help since it's clearly a science driven malthusian scheme.

Hi Peggy,

I'm feeling slightly better. I've been eating beanthreads with chicken and bún thang at this joint. Only this morning did I realize their broth is filled with MSG, so that's my last visit.

There's no Wikipedia page for bún thang in English. The French page explains that it's "a traditional specialty of Hanoi [...] It's a dish of connoiseurs that's rarely found in the Central or South. ["Une spécialité traditionnelle de Hà Nội [...] C'est un mets de connaisseur, rarement trouvé au Centre et au Sud."]

I'm surrounded by so many favorite dishes I can't eat. It is maddening! Here's a glimpse of what's in my kitchen:

Wow! Such exotic items in your kitchen. In our kitchen, you would see grapefruit from our tree, and lemons. Bananas, and a shitload of potatoes, which we eat every day. Oatmeal for breakfast, beans and potatoes for lunch, and not much dinner. Lots of fruit. Simple food that doesn't require a label! So blessed to be old (77) and healthy. No meds....no jewjabs or any jabs. My husband works in the little farm and I take long walks most days. It's raining like a mofo right now here in Sacramento. I'm stoned on the excellent crop we had this year. Anyway, take care and thanks so much for sharing your life with us.

You should have taken me up on the offer of the Thai herbal supplements create by a Thai doctor. They worked wonders for my immune system.

Hi Al,

Now that I'm more settled, I can try to find that herbal supplement, or its equivalence, here. Please give me that info again. Thanks!

I will send you the info tomorrow. You have to buy it in Thailand but you can do it on the phone. The old doctor put in his will that his family couldn't sell the formula. The full strength is given away for free at cancer hospitals funded by the royal family. His son can sell a version without 2 ingredients. The limited version still works very well unless you have really bad cancer.

My wife will check into how you can get this without speaking Thai. Her sister is in Thailand from Norway and also speaks English so can figure out something

Hi Al,

If it's too much of a hassle, don't worry about it. I'm slowly improving, so I should be OK. Many thanks, in any case!
