'Yuval Noah Harari, “What will happen to the job market once artificial intelligence outperforms humans in most cognitive tasks? What will be the political impact of a massive new class of economically useless people? What will happen to relationships, families and pension funds when nanotechnology and regenerative medicine turn eighty into the new fifty?”'

Yuval is an idiot and full of shit. He's one of those that would say with sound money we'd have the terrible thing called deflation. Deflation is absolutely the worst. You can save and not have to worry about a bank paying you interest from its evil usury practices. Even though usury is said to be very bad by Yuval's holy book, he and his ilk love it. With deflation, just as with technological advancement that the shit for brains Yuval fears, prices go down and quality of life goes up.

This is the real reason the world is going to shit. The people running things are corrupt idiots who do not understand the most basic parts of reality. All the while, they are convinced they are the smartest people ever and the masters of the universe. This is how we get stupid ideas like giant lithium battery powered cars are good for the environment and CO2, the most important plant food in the air, is the single most destructive pollutant we need to worry about. Those stupid ideas are right up there with our quality of life will diminish from technological progress that frees up labor. What a fucking moron.

Ramaswamy is clearly running for VP. The quoted statements are an obvious attempt to ensure there is no daylight between Trump’s position on Israel and his own. More generally, I can’t think of a single successful US presidential run in modern US history that didn’t include a hearty embrace of the Israeli lobby. It seems to be an article of faith in US politics these days that any run for higher office that does not include this is doomed from the start.
