I have never read any of these books. Judging by titles lone, the needed depth in literature and philosphy to fully comprehend the contents are way above my head. Yet I confess the ToC are full of phrases that are very attractive mentally. Best regards.
Reading these is like sitting next to a garrulous barfly, but better, since you can just shut him up by closing the book! My poetry can get a bit weird or even pathological, but my prose is always straightforward and friendly. I try my best to be clear.
Don't let the titles throw you. I've read a number of Linh's prose works, and have always found them interesting, observant, and entertaining. None are what I would call a difficult read (and I mean that in a complimentary sense).
I remember the page that listed Charles Bukowskis' books of fiction, short stories and poetry published by Black Sparrow Press. I think that it was at the beginning of the works. I'd have to go to the nearest library, Barnes and Noble or Borders to find them. It was always worth it.
This list very much reminds me of that. We're lucky to have it.
